Tools to get "Unstuck"
An amazing lady came to see me over the
weekend. She spoke of her frustration of feeling like she had let
some of her New Years resolutions fall by the wayside and it was only the
second week in February.
As we spoke we talked about what to do to
I thought I would send you some of the tools we
discussed. Just in case you feel like you have fallen off of the
New Year resolution wagon.
1) First of all, meditation is crucial to hear
how you may be guided. Make sure you are meditating at least ten minutes
in the morning and at night. By going to your breath you are honoring your
self and quieting the mind in order to hear how you are being
2) Journal. Journaling is one of my
favorite tools. I like to drain my brain of all the yucky stuff first
thing in the morning. And then I will begin to ask my self questions and
respond to them. I just keep asking and responding until I feel like I'm
getting answers and guidance and I feel better.
3) Take a walk in nature. Getting out doors and
reconnecting is the best!
4) Make a list of all of the things you do NOT
like in your life. Next...Write down the exact
opposite. For example, I don't like that I weigh 10 more pounds than I
normally do. Now ask yourself...What is the opposite of this. I've lost 10
Another example, I do NOT like renting, I feel
like I will never own my own home.
Opposite: I'm buying a house!
Now get detailed. What type of house? How many
bed rooms and baths? etc. I own a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a big back
Get clear on why do you want this particular
house? i.e. To invest my money, one bedroom would be for me, one
would be an office space and the other would be for the
How would it feel to get this? Fantastic!
Remember when we stay in pure positive thought and energy for more than 17
seconds it is worth 2000 man hours of work!
5) Speak with people who are doing what you
would like to do. Whether it be the type of work you would like to have,
or be in the type of relationship you would like to be in etc.
How they got where they are now? What were
their thoughts that got them there? What were their actions, etc. And
find out how they had the courage to move forward.
Really get to 'know their' brain.
Because their actions come from what they
